Anything and everything my mother cooked except mushrooms! Luckily she would cook me something different. We always had something on toast for tea on a Sunday, and it was often mushrooms on toast, after my DMum had cooked us an amazing roast dinner at lunch time.
Also, very thick Custard with the skin still on it, and
Rice pudding with the skin still on it.
My mum's homemade apple pie.
So if I can go to the restaurant for all of a day's meals, it would be:
Breakfast: My mum's bacon and eggs on her crispy (and greasy) fried bread; unless my grandparents were visiting from Ireland, when the fried bread would be replaced by real fried Irish Potato Bread - Food from the Gods!
Lunch: My Mum's roast beef dinner, with all the trimmings.
Followed by the Knickerbocker glory that she would get me as a treat at a Lyons Corner House.
Dinner: My mum's minced beef with very soft sliced onions, on top of lumpy mashed potatoes, with a well made in the middle of them (specially for me, and only on mine), with baked beans in the 'well'.
Followed by her Apple Pie and thick Custard, with the skin still on it.
