Chilli pesto- what do I do with it?

Bought by mistake. What should I use it for/with?

Put it on pasta
Drizzle over a pizza
Use on fish or chicken fillets before baking

Would be good with salmon I reckon

On pasta with cream and parmesan. Or stirred into houmous.

Depends how spicy it is and what your tolerance level is? Are there serving suggestions/recipes on the jar?

I've use it in a pasta bake or general pasta dish. If too spicy- just use half the amount. Otherwise, donate to a food bank or olio.

Is it otherwise green basil pesto? Or red pepper/tomato?

I would use it in pasta sauce, or as a spread in cheese toasties

I usually dollop a bit on some fillets of white fish and bake in the oven. V tasty.

Yes pesto just means paste

(Just that tomato pesto is different to paste)

Pasta with prawns, chorizo or bacon and mushrooms. One of my favourite quick and easy meals. Top with grated parmesan.

Yes it’s different.

I suppose normal pesto is the basil one, but then you can get tomato, pepper variants etc.
