There's one vegan, one who doesn't eat rice, one who doesn't like anything too spicy, one who thinks he's going to be malnourished if he doesn't get meat and one who's "plant based" but does eat fish. Thankfully they're all good company 😆 A dozen people altogether.

Anyway, this is my plan

The Quick Roasting Tin prawn curry (absolutely delicious btw)
Slowcooker butternut squash and red lentil Dahl
Chicken Korma for the children, sauce from a jar
Rice
Homemade naan bread - surprisingly easy and very delicious

I need some veg/something green. What are your best Indian inspired greens recipes? I think maybe I need another meat dish too?

They can have ice cream or fruit for pud!

If you have East by Meera Sodha, the tandoori broccoli is easy and delicious.

If you fancy more chopping then the Dishoom broccoli salad is fresh and vibrant and a real crowd pleaser.

This hot green bean salad is also very good, but might take more work close to serving which isn't always ideal with a crowd.

Sag aloo would be good.
I think that rather than doing another meat dish, you should do another vegan dish so your vegan guest has options. Perhaps tikka tofu skewers

Stir fried green beans (frozen and defrosted with boiling water poured over) and grated carrot with black mustard seed. Very easy and colourful.

Stick a bag of spinach in with the butternut and make something with potatoes and peas.

What about some salads and relishes? Google Indian salads, you get loads. No problem with heating etc then.

the broccoli salad above is amazing. When I make it for guests it's invariably the dish I get asked for the recipe of.

Mums chicken curry is a fantastic, tasty, classic curry by Meera Sodha.

Her Pistachio, yogurt, chicken curry is also a real favourite of mine. While it's not a 'British korma' which I don't really like, it does share similarities - nuts, relativly mild, creaminess - so you. may find it crosses over too much with the korma.
