Sauce for pork meatloaf

I usually make a spicy tomato sauce, but fancy something different.
Any ideas for a home-made sauce, please ?

My husband makes a sauce that tastes exactly like the ikea sauce for meatloaf. It’s delicious with it. I have no idea how he makes it though #helpful.

Something with apple and leek?

A barbecue style sauce or onion gravy?

I can make the ikea meatball sauce! You make a veloute with beef stock and chicken stock and include soy sauce. Then add cream.

Swedish cream sauce: Melt 40g butter in a pan. Whisk in 40g of plain flour and stir for two mins. Add 150mL of veg stock and 150mL of beef stock and continue to stir. Add 150mL of double cream, 2 tsp of soy sauce and 1 tsp of Dijon mustard.

Crème fresh, chicken stock and sage..... we use this for sausage meat pasta but I've never eaten meatloaf so not sure if this would be ok or not 😬😅
