I've followed a recipe this morning for butternut squash muffins from the gut health doctor book, to keep my plant points going!

I baked them as per the instructions (35 mins at 180 fan oven) then I put a knife in and the knife still wasn't 'clean' as such so I put them back in for another 10 mins, took them out, put them on a rack then bit into one but still wasn't convinced they were done inside - so I put them back in with foil on for another 20 mins!

Please tell me they are safe to eat now! I'm paranoid about under cooked eggs at the best of times but I'm also pregnant, I have a pic attached, they contain squash and courgettes so quite moist.... Also, is it dangerous if took a bite of them under baked? I hate baking btw!!!

No, you'll be fine, especially if you bought the eggs from a supermarket. No issue at all.

Thank you 😊😊😊 I've incinerated them on the outside unfortunately, always happens with my baking.
