Air Fryer - seem small for family cooking

I was just wondering........

Are air fryers not too small for cooking a meal for a family of four ?
For example Chicken and chips.
Do you have to cook the chicken first as the chips won't also fit in and then keep the chicken hot while cooking the chips?
Or let the chicken go cold as the chips are cooking and then bung the chicken in the microwave to reheat it ?

Would a two drawer air fryer be better ?

Yeah, this is literally what the two drawer ones are for. Single drawer are for small households or to use along side another cooking method. Dual drawers can essentially replace an oven altogether (certainly I never use mine now!).

Thank you @AtomicBlondeRose
DH, myself and only 2 dc home at the moment. I'm considering getting one but have very little space on the counter top. I don't want to get it just to cook chips and have to also do the meat in the oven or on the hob.

I bought this one for my mum (who cooks for 3 adults and 2 children most days) and she loves it. Thinking of getting one for our family and would get a big double drawer one.

Too small for a family meal yes, although I think you can with a two drawer one. I use mine a lot but not, as a rule, to cook full meals. The only time its used for full meals is when we're all eating at different times so everyone gets to do theirs quickly at a convenient time.

I have the dual ninja, it's great for 4 adults. Things cook so fast even if I have to do things in more than 2 batches nothing is cold.
