Can I whip Elmlea with proper double cream?

I’m making a dessert but the recipe calls for 450ml double cream, I’ve only got 300ml but have some Elmlea double. No time to nip out.

Can I mix them together and whip, whip separately and fold in or not at all?

Thanks!

I think Elmlea might not whip .Stick to whipping the amount you've got and go with that .
Presume it's not just for decoration? Add the unwhipped Elmlea to ingredients to get correct proportions .

Elmlea double can be whipped. I would while them separately though.

I’ve whipped it before on it’s own but its a slightly different consistency so wondered if they would work together.

I’ll whip separately and see what happens. Thanks!

Can I ask if this worked for you? I find myself in the same predicament.
thanks
