So can anyone recommend any food/shops online that sell food snacks for a 16 month old? TIA x

What sort of things are you after? By that age your little one should be able to eat pretty much anything you do so as long as you're keeping an eye on salt and sugar, snacks can be things you pick up in any normal supermarket.

If you try to make sure each snack is balanced with carbohydrates, protein and fruit/veg then you will fill them up for longer. So some ideas might be:

Crackers with peanut butter and apple slices
Hummus with cucumber and bread sticks.
Oatcakes and cheese with orange
Rice cake with Philly and pepper slices

For snacks out and about most supermarkets do crispy snacks specifically for toddlers but they're not overly filling or nutritious. It can be good to make your own snacks and plenty of websites/Instagram pages have great ideas for toddler snacks you can make and freeze. Banana cookies (just oats and banana) and savoury flapjacks were favourites here.

Where do you buy your own food? That is where I get my toddler's snacks, at the usual supermarket. A mixture of "baby" marketed snacks and normal foods as Cavebaby says. Also things like Pom bear crisps and breadsticks and sometimes cheese balls for a treat. Cheese string/babybel, yoghurt, fruit, things like that. Keep an eye on salt levels if buying adult snacks, but babies aren't a different species, they don't need special "baby" food, that's just marketing.
