I replace mine everytime I change my sheets. So every 3 months.

Surely you change your sheets daily along with your towels?

But your oven wasn't inactive was it? You were using it as a larder.
So your thread title is a big lie.

Why did you store milk in your oven? I cannot imagine a situation where there was nowhere else to put it. How long was it there?

Was 'hide the milk' one of those 'we went a bit bonkers over lockdown and couldn't find anything to do' games? Thank god it wasn't hide and seek or someone would be skeletonised in the back of the garage by now!!

Isn’t the standard response “sex lube and a fish slice”??

IncredibleSulk · 08/02/2023 22:21

Pics or that didn’t happen 😏

Oh dear OP, you'll have to cook your bean burgers in the fridge Grin

I have two ovens and use the second when we host Christmas, which us probably every 3 years. Why would it not be ok?

Just for reference, but UHT milk is already heat treated, you don't need to try and repeat the process

Beachsidesunset · 09/02/2023 14:47

Baked mice - yummy!

I'm going to hell for this, but that made me laugh out loud.

If it makes you feel any better OP, I am also the loon who "stores" stuff in the oven.

In my case it was a few weeks old chips. I had been keeping them warm but forgot about them when I switched off.
A few weeks later I had flaming chips with my chargrilled chicken. And a load of clean up to do.
