Favourite curry from the Indian takeaway

Hi, can Mumsnetters recommend me a good curry to try? I usually have a dhansak or a biriyani. I only like chicken really, not a fan of lamb or pork or prawn. I like medium to spicy (but would have a milder one as also love masala!) and I don't like it to be dry - like a fair amount of sauce. Any suggestions? I'm worried about spending the money and not liking my choice so I tend to play safe! Really fancying one tonight. My pregnancy nausea has abated for a couple of days and I want to make the most of it! X

I like to get the meat separate either garlic chicken shashlik or mixed sizzling tandoori, comes in a tray with tons of onions and peppers then whichever curry sauce I fancy. Delicious. Onion rice and garlic naan.

Or a spicy masala if they do one .

Paneer chat is delicious too.

Could eat all that right now 😋

Vindaloo, madras and butter chicken are firm faves

My favourite is begum bahar which is diced chicken with minced lamb, so tasty, also like chicken chat. I want an Indian now!

Dopiaza all day long! Onions, onions and more onions, what's not to like??!

Vegetable Sri Lanka. You can get a chicken one too. Delicious

Tarka Dahl (don’t scrimp on the garlic), chana masala, sag paneer and lemon rice. All at medium to hot spice level please.

A dhabi murgh, which I haven't seen in other places. Creamy, nutty, very mild. I usually have it once or twice a month.

Mushroom Dopiaza with Chicken or Chicken Jaipuri.

I used to like dhansak but had one in somerset that nearly blew my head off it was so hot, so have settled on dopiaza. Tarka dhal makes me think of otters which puts me off
I love prawn puree but you don't like Prawns so no good unless there's a chicken version

I love dopiaza, dansac, masalander or bhuna
