Freezing bananas

Does anyone know if I can freeze overripe bananas to make banana bread another day? Should I peel them first?

Yes, peel them, cut them into chunks and freeze in a sealed bag.

I peel and freeze whole. Easier to know how many bananas you have for recipes and can chop them up when frozen if needed.
