Can I freeze mince once cooked and stored in fridge for a day?

I cooked a spag bowel in batch last night and left it in the fridge until now, I completely to put it in the freezer. Can I still freeze it even though it’s been out in the fridge since yesterday? Its for my 1 year old so want to make sure

Maybe I'm not the best person to ask but it wouldn't ever occur to me that there could be any reason not to do this

Of course you can. The supermarkets have ready meals made with mince that have much longer use by dates than a day and you can still freeze them up to that date.
