Have been given a piece of ham (no bone) just over a kg in weight.I'd like to put some in the freezer to use for sandwiches in the future .
Was thinking to cut into several pieces ,say 500g ish each .
Would this be ok do you think ?

Ham freezes really well! When they are on offer I often buy a big one, cook it and freeze. I slice before freezing as then you can just take out what you need, and it defrosts much quicker than a big lump would do.

I do it with my Christmas ham each year. Wrap in foil twice, weigh and write the weight on it and freeze. Easy as.
