Curried soup. Anyone recognise?

I am looking for a recipe I had years ago. I have looked on Google and nothing looks similar. It had pasta, broccoli and chopped mini corn on the cobs in it (I can’t remember what else) and the liquid was dark brown with a mild curry flavour. All the dishes online look orange or yellow and very different. Any ideas? Or any ideas on how the dark sauce might have been achieved? A bit of a needle in a haystack!

Mulligatawny?

Just to add, it was a chunky style soup. Almost like a curried minestrone soup.

Was it pasta shapes or long strands. Could they have been noodles?

Pasta shapes. Small fusilli I think.

Could it be something based on Thai, Japanese or Chinese flavours? Like a noodle soup? So lemongrass, ginger, chilli, rather than cumin and coriander?

Soy sauce is quite effective at darkening soups.

Soy sauce is quite effective at darkening soups.

So is beef oxo.

Thanks for the replies. I’ve got a vague memory that there might have been both beef oxo and soy sauce in it, but can’t think in what quantities that might have been. I remember there was mild curry powder in it. I loved it back in the 1990s - that’s why my memory is so foggy about it now, it was a long time ago.
