How to freeze a pie

I’ve got leftover ham to make in to a pie with leeks, mushrooms etc but don’t want it until the weekend. Do I cook the veg and then cool and freeze in a ziplock with the ham, or do I make the full pie (creme fraiche sauce and puff pastry) and then freeze?

I’d probably just freeze the ham then take it out to defrost, make up all the other stuff and mix the defrosted ham in and then assemble and bake.

I think mushrooms out of the freezer tend to go a funny texture -cooked or raw. I do slice leeks and freeze them raw but they tend to hold a lot of water so add a fair bit of liquid to the dish when defrosted.

I'd do the same as Oneshoetwoshoeredshoeblushoe
Mushrooms don't freeze well.
If the leek won't last until the weekend, I'd blanch it briefly & drain well before freezing.
