Help! Can I put chicken gravy with sausage and mash?

Thinking about it the red one is actually beef gravy right? So not even similar to sausages anyway!!

Using the wrong gravy is fine. Using granules and calling them gravy is a sin. I may be being sanctimonious but no, just no. Freeze your stock and meat jelly when you cook your chicken or beef or whatever and freeze your spare gravy however small as a starter. Then eat proper stuff. Granules will always just be granules. Who cares if they are from a red or yellow packet they’re all crap.

Thanks gravy police 😀 But as I said I am a lazy cook and I hope I can get off with a caution on this occasion. I did however make my mash and didn't get that from a tin!

Verdict: it tasted surpassingly okay, I am pregnant and starving though which may help the chicken gravy granules' cause!

I did this the other day. Definitely not as good as the red bisto but it did the job.

Do it and add half a red Bisto or Oxo cube, stir well.

Mash with peas and any sort of gravy is the food of gods, I only have the chicken one at the moment and it's delightful.

Get on the gravy train! Fry the sausage with onion to get the flavours going, then Chuck in the granules… pour over mash n peas. Food of the gods (butchers high quality sausage only as I am the meat police)
