Is it OK to keep my Ninja Foodie grill under the top cupboards?

I got one for Christmas and I keep moving it around the kitchen as I don't know where to keep it.

If I keep it on the bit of work surface which has cupboards above it, it's so bloody big that it really cuts off all my work space.

So I've been using it on the other bit of work surface with cupboards above it. But I'm a bit worried that long term, the heat coming off the grill might warp the cupboards or discolour them, what do others think?

I do, I pull it to the front of the worktop when in use and push it back after. I have the slightly older model. I use it all the time, I'd like a 9 or 11 in 1 but I have no more space!

What's the distance from your worktop to the underside of your cupboards? In most kitchens, I'd think the distance would be sufficient that the underside of the cupboard wouldn't build up heat.

Also you could store it under the cupboard, but pull it toward the front of the worktop to use it. You can even buy sliders for small kitchen appliances to easily pull your appliance across the worktop.

I do, pulling it forward to use. It steams the cupboards above though, if I'm cooking a lot. I have to wipe them down. No damage so far and it's been well over a year.

Thanks both of you, I've been doing that a bit but it's quite heavy so I like the idea of sliders. Might do that
