Help keeping puff pastry crispy

Hello

im going to a friend’s house tonight and was thinking of bringing small savoury puff pastry tarts.

I’m planning to cook them up until before we leave the house so they’re still warm when we arrive (they live 10 mins away).

What would be the best container to keep them in?

I was initially thinking of covering them with foil paper, but I worry the steam/heat might make them soggy?

thanks!

I think you are going to struggle to get them there still warm without the pastry getting soggy.
Is there an option to heat them in their oven on arrival?

@AtleastitsnotMonday , do you mean reheat them or actually cook them in their oven?

I think reheating might be an option

I would have thought reheating would be enough to re crisp pastry

Do check with your friend first.
I once hosted a party where 3 people turned up with things that needed my oven. They didn't bring baking trays, & expected me to supervise the cooking (I didn't).
