Kmix lifting mechanism

Has anyone had, and solved, this problem with a kmix? The head was a bit sticky for a while and could be a struggle to lift up sometimes but now it won't lift at all. Is there an easy fix anyone has tried? I don't really want to ditch it as I don't use it that often. Thank you.

Sounds faulty, I have 3 Kmixs and have never had this issue

Thanks. That's helpful. I've had two, and the last one was returned under guarantee because the motor gave up. So I've been less lucky, although these issues may happen to other machines, I presume.
