Pavlova or mini merengues

Having friends over and wonder whether to do a pavlova ( never done before) or merengues nest, about 8cm diameter, which I’ve done before.

I think time and effort will probably be the same but the pavlova will probably have a more ‘showstopper’ look.

Which would you go for?

Merengue ‘nests’ - one for each person

Do a pavlova. Or, a meringue roulade. Which takes less time to cook than a pavlova but still has the wow factor.

I knew my spelling of meringue was looking dodge!
Not good with roulades - rolling technique I think, so looking like Pavlova.
