Help - can this soup be rescued?

As part of my continuing attempt to learn to cook, I have attempted to make a "simple" homemade Tomato and Basil soup.

It's all finished and blended. Tasted it and realised it has waaaaaay too much Basil.

Turns out it was 1tsp of dried basil not the 1tbsp that I've added. Is there anything I can do to rescue it? Or is a lost cause and a tough lesson learnt?!

Maybe try sieving it? Or use with pasta as a delicious sauce.

Make 2 more batches, with no basil, and mix them all together?
Use it as a pasatta, and cook it into a pasta sauce, again with more stuff added in?

Melt a load of cheese in there to overpower the basil taste.

Thank you so much ladies, the pasta sauce idea is great. Another batch without basil is also a great idea.

I knew there was a reason I don't cook!
