Waffle maker recommendations

My waffles have started to weld to my waffle maker, regardless of how much or how I lubricate them so I think it's time for a new one.

Does anyone have any suggestions for an electric waffle maker than makes great waffles and is likely to last a few years?

I have the Breville one and it's perfectly fine - had it a few years now but we don't use it that regularly. Once every few months.

I know I'm posting pretty late on this thread but op did you eventually find one?
I have the same problem with my waffle irons, not had one last more than 3 or 4 years and we make waffles about once a week! We're vegan so it's the only way we can get waffles on a regular basis, but I'm sick of these gadgets losing their effectiveness a few years in... So I'm keen to see if you've had any breakthroughs

The Lakeland one is fab , 3 years in and still going strong . I particularly like the overflow channels which actually make their own little waffle !

In the end I got the Salter one with the removable plates. I'm hoping the fact I can clean the plates easily might make it last longer.

Thanks! I have had the salter one with the plates -- hope yours lasts longer. I think I will look at the Lakeland one or the more expensive Sage one if it means that it will last longer...

Sorry, it's the Breville one, not Salter!
