Caramelised onion marmalade

I was half watching Jamie Oliver making a beef stew of sorts. I'm sure he said to add caramelised onion marmalade but I can only find chutney in the shops. It's not something I usually buy, will chutney be just as good or should I hold out for the marmalade? If so, where would I find such a thing?

Same thing!

Waitrose sells caramelised onion marmalade - look for the Tracklements brand or Stokes. I'm sure other supermarkets sell them too. Chutneys usually include vinegar so might not be a substitute for (sweet) onion marmalade.

Stokes make lovely red onion marmalade.

Thank you, I'll have a look for that one 🙂
