This just cost me £1.33 as swedes, carrots, potatoes, parsnips, brussel sprouts and shallots are just 19p a bag this week and next.

4 swedes and 3 bags of carrots prepped ready to go!

A word of warning that last year, we had their sprouts and they were awful.

I haven't had a problem, and I'm sure it's not a countrywide issue. The swedes and carrots where excellent.

Why prep do you do and how do you store them?

I’m imagining par boil and then freeze?

Did my Christmas food shop yesterday at Lidl and got my 10% discount using the app. Everything that can be frozen has been, or part cooked and frozen and all other stuff lasts way past Christmas.

I always say that if you did your weekly shop today, you'd still be eating stuff 6/7 days later.
