Sausage casserole

looking for easy recipes for sausage casserole to cook after school.

This was amazing ing when I tried it (without the beams, as I didn't have any).

Fry sausages and roughly chopped onion.
Meanwhile boil the dickens out of a tin or two of tomatoes, with salt, pepper, dried sage and garlic.
Chop sausages into bite sized pieces and add to casserole dish with onions, sauce and a couple of tins of beans or lentils ( use green lentils and haricot or borlotti beans usually).
Adjust seasoning as required.
Cook in oven (iron hob top) until heated through and bubbling. Serve with mash or jacket potatoes.

Also very good with veggie / vegan sausages. If you want to freeze then make sure you use new potatoes or similar

This Sausage and Cider casserole is lovely. It's got apples, parsnips, shallots in and I sometimes add a couple of carrots too. It's delicious and simple to make too.
