........that doesn't involve coffee liqueur or Marsala wine cos I can't get any?! Have people successfully used amaretto?
I have enough sponge fingers to make 50 blooming tiramisu's so I definitely need to make it!

I think Marsala wine is actually just the Italian version of sherry. Might that work? Now I’m dreaming of tiramisu. I think amaretto might be a bit harsh…..

I wouldn't like Amaretto in it, I use Tia Maria, fairly easy to get in most supermarkets. I prefer it to Marsala in it, I know some people use brandy so maybe a mix of it and the Amaretto which is a bit strong on it's own, almond isn't the most popular flavour.
