Cooked turkey

Hi, just wondering if any UK supermarkets sell a cooked turkey crown which just requires re-heating via microwave? It's for someone without an oven this Christmas. I can't really see anything online - the supermarkets available where we live are Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda, Lidl, Iceland and M&S. Thanks.

That's one I haven't heard of. How many are they feeding? Could they buy cooked, sliced Turkey instead?

Just two people with a banjaxed oven and not much chance of buying another one.

It must be a difficult meat to cook and store because personally I have never seen it for sale as a whole crown either, which is odd as you would think there might be a bit of a demand from people, maybe the elderly or singles etc. I know most places do cooked chickens all year round.

As a PP said you could buy cooked and sliced Turkey?

If you only need to feed two I would buy slices of carved turkey from the deli counter and then heat in gravy to prevent it from drying out.

Yes, I had forgotten about the deli counter. That, and some carved ham, would make a normal enough Xmas dinner.
