The last three times I've bought mould ripened soft cheese there's been a problem with it, across three supermarkets. Cambazola from Sainsbury's and brie from m&s both had fuzzy mould on the flesh and camembert from Morrisons had gone off completely - hard, yellow and smelly.
Have I just been unlucky or is there a problem with cheese storage in the distribution part of the chain?
I got a refund all three times from each retailer (and m&s took the rest of the cheese off the shelf after they offered me a replacement and it turned out they were all like that) no problem but it's annoying. Is anyone else finding this?
