Anyone fancy trying to untangle this scaling down and conversion of slow cooker to oven?

It's pork shoulder cut into about one inch chunks .With coconut milk ,stock ,spices etc .

Recipe is for 4 pounds and I'm using 800g .So I'm working on 1/2 of other ingredients .Though may have got the math wrong ,

Anyway recipe says cook on high in a slow cooker for 4 hours .I'm cooking in the oven ...how long and at what temp should I cook ?

Answers on the back of a postcard .

I'd cook for around 1½ hours on 160-180°c. That's a fan oven.

You'll probably need extra liquid if you're cooking it in the oven

My granny would have said, in a warmish oven until it is done! I have a whole notebook of her recipes that read like that. But I’d say about 170, 2 hours but keep an eye on it in case it tries to dry out.

I agree with both replies above especially with adding more liquid. You have the pound to gram about right

Thank you! You guys are lifesavers . I think I'll stick to recipes that are meant for ovens in future .
