How do I correct 4 table spoons of stock powder mistake!

I just chucked in 4 tablespoons of stock powder rather than 4 teaspoons. It's a bit salty!

I've added in the 4 tiny wee potatoes I have in the house - what else can I do?

Any suggestions

Half it and add more water!

Add more potatoes.
Or triple the other ingredients to make three times the amount of the recipe. Is it freezeable? Do you have the ingredients to hand?

What are you making? Could you remove two thirds of the sauce and add water to dilute it down? If your ingredients are something that will absorb the saltiness, it's probably not going to work.

I'd head to the shop for some spuds tbh.

It's carrot and coriander soup. I've used up every carrot in the house and have no more potatoes. I may have to add more water and have thin soup.

Add red lentils to make it a new kind of soup?

Add more water and thicken with corn flour.
