I fancy treating myself to a new cook book, what shall I get?
I haven't bought a new one since the Roasting Tin series which I love.

My favourite is always the last one I bought.
At the moment, it's "Dominique's Kitchen". Very easy Asian-inspired recipes.
I also love Ottolenghi "Simple". Well, it's simpler than most of his dishes.

I like to borrow from the library, or skim through in WHS, before deciding to buy from Amazon. I've got too many books that only have a few recipes that I use.

Ones I have my eye on to buy:
Big Has Home by Hasan Semay

The Veg Box Companion by Abel&Cole

Full and Plenty by Maura Laverty.

The stories of love. Oh, the stories. And good cooking, too.

East - Meera Sodha. The recipes are delicious, interesting and varied, not too tricky or requiring many specialty ingredients. The instructions are also very reliable. It’s my current favourite cookbook and the one I reach for first.

My most used cookbook is from from oven to the table by Diana Henry. Love her recipes, never made a duff one.

Plus an oldie but a goody is Nigella Express.

Nigella, Kitchen, is my absolute favourite cookbook ever.
