Looking for some new recipes to add into my meal plans.

What are your favourite pasta recipes?

My favourite is this one : www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/pasta-recipes/gennaro-s-parma-ham-red-pepper-with-taglierini/

If you get the balance right it’s so tasty, zingy and salty. It’s one I would be happy to make if I invited friends over too.

Roast tomatoes with cut up garlic, herbs, olive oil and almonds, then blend until smooth. It's really creamy and delicious.

Roast tomatoes, whole garlic cloves (skin on) and fresh basil in little olive oil and some balsamic glaze.
Once cooked squish it all down with potato masher or fork, garlic should squirt out. Remove the papery skins. Serve with freshly cooked spaghetti.

Very simple, very cheap.

This caramelised onion and feta tagliatelle by Diana Henry is so simple and delicious. The sweetness from the onion is lovely with the sharp feta.

Wow, loads of lovely recipes. Pookah do you roast all the ingredients together, or just the tomatoes?

I roast them all together, I use the jarred whole garlic cloves in herby oil from Lidl and spoon a little of the oil over as well, or just add some oil you like. The roasted almonds taste delicious.

This is a favourite here:

Fry off chopped chorizo until it oozes oil
Add a chopped red onion and chopped red pepper, and a couple of chopped garlic cloves
Pinch of chilli flakes (or use a fresh chilli if you prefer) and a glug of smoked paprika flakes
Tin of chopped tomatoes
Cook down as long as you can - although fine if you just have ten minutes or so while you cook pasta - then add frozen peas and serve with pasta and Parmesan. Good cold for lunch too, and also works well with some goats cheese.

Does anyone have any nice vegetarian pasta recipes? My daughter is vegetarian and it would be handy to have a couple of fairly easy recipes so I have a quick alternative for her when we are having a meat dish.

This is lovely

proper store cupboard mid week meal. I use cream cheese if we have no mascarpone and it’s good for using up cherry toms if they are passing their best. Also beef it up sometimes with prawns.

kateandme · 14/11/2022 15:30

Macaroni and cheese fillets of salmon get layed across the bottom of the dish before you pour the Mac over and bake.

Taglietteli pesto salami cheese

Campbell's cream of tomato soup,tin of tuna,pasta.sorted🤗

Jar of dolmio. Frankferters.pasta.quickest most scrumiest can't be bothered tea out.with cheese on top of course.

I like mince and past a bake.its basically spaghetti Bolognese with cheese sauce put into a dish but it just tastes elite.

We cook down onion, mushrooms, garlic, peppers, tomatoes, add some passage and tomato paste and herbs, usually at this point we split it off and for the meat eaters add chorizo and or chicken. When that's nice and saucy stir through pasta of your choice into a dish.add mozzarella and stir until it just melts and oozes slightly.then add pine nuts and cheese on top and bake.its delish.
