Ninja virgin... minor panic

Help!

I've a 9-in-1 multi cooker

Just put it on slow cook, with the pressure lid

Says turn button to vent

Done that... but it doesn't click into place or anything, it's just in that general direction

Visions of blowing up the kitchen....

That's right with slow cooker mode. You don't want to build pressure.
It's only the pressure cooker mode that you want it fully to the left and "clicked" in.

Ah right! Thanks :)

Haven't got brave enough to go with pressure cooking yet!
