O.k. Ds's Buzz Birthday Party this saturday.
I bought a mould off e-bay.
Why oh why was I so stupid and did not order the lolipop sticks and cellophane bags from the same lady ???????????????????????

  • sticks and bags

Now I am up against time.
Please tell me, is there a shop, that I can go to, to buy ?
I have popped into shops that make speciality cakes, but they could not help.
Does someone like Lakeland or someone do them ?

There are lots of shops doing cellophane bags on ebay -I bought decorated ones for DD's party bags.

If you get some on Buy It Now they should arrive in time.

Not sure about lolly sticks but its worth looking on there too I guess

Thank you Betty, I too have found bags and sticks from the UK, and yes they are on a buy-it-now, so I know that I might just get them in time.
But I was just hoping that there was some 'high street' shop, that I could pop to.
I was hoping that 'craft' 'supplies' were available in the high street these days, but maybe not.

Lakeland?

I've seen lolly sticks for craft activities in places like the Works and Woolies but I don't know if they're suitable for food use?? (some of them are dyed bright colours but some are plain)

I Have searched the Lakeland store online and have found cellophane bags www.lakeland.co.uk/product.aspx/!12007
but no rounded lollipop sticks, as yet .
I think the sticks could prove to be a problem.

Party Pieces have them both (the rounded sticks like your e-bay pic), just ordered some. They come very quick.

I am sure I saw lolly sticks in tesco - although they were the traditional flat type not round.

Otherwise partypieces - and if you beg they will send them out first class (I order a mould from them and forgot the sticks and they sent them out first class normal post to get them here in time).

On the Party Pices site you need to look under activities, then cooking. The bags and sticks came to £3ish. They are good if you beg, I forgot to order a CD and they sent it for £1 postage and it came 1st class.
