Ninja Foodi Max 15-in-1 - air fryer / reversible rack

Hi all

For those of you with the Ninja Foodi multi cooker...

Does anyone know whether I can use the reversible rack in the main pot to air fry, as opposed to the cook and crisp basket?

I want to put in some chicken and some wedges but I can't do that with them in one layer in the cook & crisp basket. So wondering whether I can put the chicken on one layer of the reversible rack and the wedges on the other (so nothing in the actual base) instead...?

Yes it's meant to go in the main pot. Does it even fit in the basket?

@Batshittery
No that's the whole point - the cook & crisp basket is what is meant to be used for air frying, but I have too much food for one layer in that. So I'm considering taking the basket out and then using the reversible rack in the main pot to try and achieve the same air flow / effect as the cook & crisp basket.

I don't see why it wouldn't work, as really it's kind of the same thing (enabling air flow) but just wanted to check if anyone had done this!

@Batshittery sorry, reading it back I see why you thought I was asking about the rack in basket vs pot.
Rack has nothing to do with basket! Options are cook wedges and chicken in batches in basket, or see if it works on rack in pot....

They will all cook on the racks in the pot.
Enjoy Smile
