Best bean chilli recipe

I need to make a huge pot of veggie chilli, loads of beans and lentils.
What's the best tried and tested recipe?

This is an incredible veggie chilli (and I say this as a meat eater who has served it to other meat eaters). Very rich in flavour and umami, not a sad imitation of the meat version which I found with other recipes. Just a small note - maybe dial back the amount of chilli, then add in more if needed, the recipe can be quite hot.

I echo the recipe above. It’s by far the best vegetarian chilli I’ve made, and I wouldn’t go to another recipe. I have some in my fridge at the moment.

I'm going to give that recipie a try! I love veggie chilli! Interested by the addition of coffee though! I haven't heard that one before!

Will the coffee just add flavour or does the caffeine have any affect? Quite a few children will be eating it……

Burnt aubergine chilli I only add 1spoonful of soy sauce not 3 and more chilli powder and a tin of chickpeas as I like them in it as well.

Forgot to say the burnt aubergine chilli is far better than any meat one and has totally replaced it.

If it doesn't have to have lentils, then this Gousto Rainbow curry (definitely more a chilli than a curry) is delicious, and a favourite in our house.

I second that BBC Good Food burnt aubergine one above. I didn't bother charring the aubergine after the first couple of times and it is still utterly fantastic.
