What to do with a bag of sprouts

Have a random bag of sprouts to use up. Husband hates them, kids neutral, I don't mind. I'm looking for the ultimate recipe to change minds and win over stomachs.

I'm not binning them - food cannot be wasted.

I echo the other posters who say roast until a bit charred in plenty of olive oil, bit of salt and pepper.

Or they're nice shredded up really fine and cooked with bacon, then add in a packet of ready-prepared mash (or any leftover mash you have knocking about) and cook it in a frying pan until golden on the bottom - bubble and squeak.

Roast them with broccoli, halloumi and harissa paste.

Stir fry with chorizo and chestnuts or roast in balsamic with red pepper and onion
Eat raw.

Well I’d just eat them with a little butter on but that’s probably no help to you OP. You could shred them and fry them up with some bacon and drizzle maple syrup over

Don’t be a prick. You know exactly what I mean.

Hahahaha this is obviously directed at me because of your "paprika for the adults" comments. If you don't like people responding and can't reply without name calling maybe the internet isn't for you.. but no, I don't know exactly what you mean. Why do you think paprika is an adult ingredient? Are children not allowed flavour?

Wow, calm down ladies there's plenty of other things in the world to get worked up about.

So we had those sprouts last night. I can't remember who said to have them with Feta, but I blanched them, roasted them with olive oil, salt and pepper and then added some crumbled feta at the end. Husband refused to try them. One child had one and then just picked out the feta and the other child ate a portion. This mean I ate nearly a whole bag of sprouts on my own. Delicious, but goodness being in my vicinity at the moment needs to come with a health warning.. .

Wooden stake and holy water

Quarter and saute Inbutter with a teaspoon of caraway seeds and crispy bacon.

Or shred and cook in a saucepan in butter. Towards the end add a dollop of creme fraiche and lashings of black pepper.

Arguing over paprika and sprouts, as Mumsnet as it gets.
