Lift it off and cook separately? Let pork rest.

DeathMetalMum · 16/10/2022 17:01

Put it under the grill on the highest temp you can.

Take it if, pat dry, re-salt and cook separately to the pork in a hot oven while your meat rests.

Yes grill it it will be amazing

LadyHermione · 16/10/2022 17:02

Dry it with kitchen towel, sprinkle with salt, put under a grill or top element only on high.

AriettyHomily · 16/10/2022 17:02

Take it off and whack it back in the oven

Thrownunderabus · 16/10/2022 17:06

Is it definitely cracking, so skin, rather than a thick bit of fat such as you get on a loin joint sometimes?
If so then as pp have said, take it off by running a knife under it and stick it back in the oven on high. I don’t like it grilled as it puffs up and is almost too dry.

Rub olive oil then salt into pork skin next time and cook on higher temp. Great crackling.

Thanks all, I did as you said, took it off and put back in the oven, it's now perfect and most has been scoffed.
