Does anyone remember this chocolate egg?

A foil-wrapped^ Mars Bar egg (think Crème Egg size),^ that when you opened it it was actually two separate halves. Inside was this amazing moussey nougat stuff that was in a Mars Bar. But I've never found them again/Mars Eggs are not like this at all!

Have I invented this in a dream?

I used to like Needkers eggs, they had chocolate goo inside.

Eggs were so much better years ago. There were truffle eggs too. Now there’s only yukky crème eggs in proper egg size.

Oh yes! Lovely they were! I also remember in the 70s, a caramel and marshmallow egg. So yummy!

, but there was something shaped like a hazelnut in two halves filled with soft caramel and a hazelnut . Like the purple wrapped Quality Street but I think Rowntrees ?

Sounds familiar! I'm biased but I think the heyday of chocolate was in the 90s and I often mourn forgotten chocolate like Marble bars and those pocket sized Dairy Milks. Back when they all tasted more chocolatey too.

I don't remember this egg, but I remember the old Rowntree's (now Nestle) Toffe & Mallow egg. the best ever. Rowntree's chocolate was very different - Nestle nothing like, especially on Kit Kats.
