A gadget to help with cake decorating and slicing

I'm looking for something that will help me mark out cakes for decorating/slicing. I've found that you can get frames to press into the cake top with all the slices marked, but they mark the whole cake. Plus you have to get a separate frame for every number of slices, and then find the space to store them.

I found this on Lakeland, but it's discontinued. Does anyone know of something that I can use to subtly mark a cake to help me place decorations very evenly, and then slice into identical wedges?

Can you cut a circle of card or paper and mark it yourself? Use a protractor to work out the angles?

Yes, that's the one I've seen. Too bully, too restrictive.

I usually end up making something out paper, protractor and pencil, but it's unsatisfactory because I have to make a new one every time. And do the maths.

I have a plastic washable cake dividing chart that sounds exactly what you need. I only use it to help we work out where to put cake supports but it also has divisions on it that would do what you need in terms of dividing slices. It has dowel sized holes in so you could use a pin / dowel to mark the divisions.

Unfortunately I bought mine years ago and I can't find it online now. Mine has different information on it relative to this one,.but this is the closest I can find www.cakecraftbycharlotteandmay.com/products/wilton-cake-dividing-chart-20-x-20
