Are they worth it?

I have a friend who raves on and on about hers, and looking online, they appear cheaper to use than an oven, and I think work as a slow cooker as well?

But are they, honestly, worth buying?

I'm coming from the point of view of needing to cook for myself and one relative, not having hours to slave over meals at a time, and hopefully cooking enough to be able to stick an extra portion or two in the freezer.

I've only had mine a little while. I'd say it depends on what you eat.

Mine has been used on the pressure cooker option to make soup a lot, cook a whole chicken, do anything I'd normally do in the air frier, Cook bacon wrapped chicken and for things I'd normally turn the oven on for eg quiche, frozen cookies, part bakes rolls.

I justified getting it by telling myself I'd get rid of both the air frier and slow cooker but since I tend to use it as an oven I often still need the air frier at the same time 😬

I am very pleased with it but its daunting at first and very few recipes we'd eat so just had to experiment.

Im coming from a completely uneducated side of cooking life - i am used to a hob/oven/microwave...

For an air fryer... what are they best used for? Is that in place of anything "oven based"?

Pressure cooker sounds like a win in terms of soup, especially coming into winter months..

Use mine all the time. I’m even thinking of taking it on holiday

Use it to cook chips, cook chicken pieces (from frozen), sausages for breakfast rolks (again from frozen), make stock from chicken bones, cook gammon (PC then airfry with glaze, make soup, cook pulses, defrost and reheat bread from freezer, casseroles, curries and stews. “Toasted” sandwiches.I’ve also made crustless quiches in it.

I have the instant pot 11 in 1, it’s saving me a fortune.
I have barely used the oven since buying it.
I.have roasted,sautéed ,slow cooked, pressure cooked air fried and grilled.

As said above I've hardly used my oven since buying my 9-in-1. We've already had a cut in our bills too! I've used it for everything from cake to daal

Am I right in thinking you can cook multiple things in it at the same time? ie... I would be able to cook a meal in it, meat/veg/potatoes etc and serve up at the same ish time and not have to use multi contraptions?

(also - cake?! That sounds like a win to me as well!)

You certainly can cook your roast and chicken etc at one time. Get a sling for your chicken its an absolute game changer in getting it out as the meat falls of thr bone. We've the 15 in 1 my teenage sob got it for.his birthday from my mum he has baked a cake and bread in it also.

I am sold on it.

Now to consider which option!

Out if the 9/11/15 in 1s, how many of those settings are used/surplus to needs?

Well I haven't used the yoghurt making setting but never say never....
