Fruit to add to apple pie

We have loads of cooking apples this year. I normally do blackberry and apple pie, but there aren’t many blackberries nearby. Are there any other fruits that go well with apple in a pie?

Pears.

Or raisins and some cinammon.

Plums, apricots (from a tin!)

Rhubarb!

Sultanas and some mixed spice.

Raspberries work well imo! Or sometimes I put nuts in, and a bit of salted caramel.

Seconding rhubarb.

Our blackberries have been and gone.
I really prefer just apple, but dh always likes something else in it: I quite often use frozen fruit like blueberries or raspberries.

Yes, absolutely this!

Mincemeat and apple tart with meringue on top instead of pastry lid was our favourite "pudding" growing up.

I add dried sour cherries to baked apples, should work well in pie too.

I usually use raisins, raspberry is a good idea.

We've had apple and plum and apple and strawberry (frozen berries) this week. In fact I had apple and strawberry crumble for breakfast as there were loads of leftovers.
