Ideas for using up those things at the back of the cupboard

Anyone else thinking of trying to use up all the odds and sods in the back of the cupboard?
Thought might help keep costs down a little, stop me letting things go out of date and so to waste and keep the house tidier.
So made pineapple upside down cake on Saturday to use tinned pineapple in danger of going off.
Looking for inspiration for the many boxes of organic puffed rice I bought in bulk, they aren't very crispy making them less appealing. So any ideas would be much appreciated.
Anyone fancy joining in and sharing ideas

@DiscontentedWoman Ketchup: use as the basis for a Szechuan stir fry sauce /satay sauce

Tbsp ketchup, garlic, ginger, chilli, tbsp peanut butter and a tablespoon hot water, good slug of soy sauce

This is what is use as stir fry sauce for 1 so scale up as appropriate (I usually make this with Tom purée, vinegar & sugar - ie ketchup, plus the spices, soy sauce and peanut butter)

@DiscontentedWoman : you could also use ketchup as well as/instead of tomato purée eg in chilli, pasta sauce etc where other ingredients will disguise it

Thanks for suggestion on salad dressing: I have same issue now weather has changed. Am veggie but will try some as a marinade for roast veggies/chickpeas etc

I hate ketchup but buy it for guests and use it up by popping a blob into tomato based sauces in lieu of a pinch of sugar.
