Title says it all really. I'm half way through the recipe and the veg are already cooking. Will I poison my family?

Probably - I hope you didn't do it - a high fat fruit is not the best thing when fermented. Urgh!

I found a gone off can. sniffed it smelt fine. Used it and it was fine. think it had just gone off though.
