Just that really. I've never really had a sweet tooth but just recently I've been craving cake! I've not bought cakes for years. What is your favourite shop bought cake or sweet treat?

Fiona carnes from Waitrose. Very very pricy for what it is (sponge Cassie with fancy icing) but really moist and light. And doesn’t have the synthetic taste of many shop bought cakes

I second Fiona Cairns cupcakes. Costco used to always have them in store, then didn't for years but the last time I was in store they had them back in stock. Deep joy!

Aldi's fruit tea loaf is very good, dense and moist. It will be with one with whisky in it but I prefer the plain.

Can't beat a lump out of Colin the Caterpillars middle in my humble opinion!

Waitrose sponges could pass them off as handmade
