DS is 4 and just started school too so I feel your pain!

The Taming Twins site is great for child friendly (and budget friendly) recipes. We had the sticky sausage tray bake tonight which is a favourite.

The slow cooker/pressure cooker has got loads of use. We’ve had the beef stew, chicken casserole with dumplings, pork chops with mushroom and spinach (that one does have a sauce), nachos and lamb orzo summer stew.

I made some savoury cheese and spinach muffins for after school snacks as they freeze well.

Sausage rolls - I make a large batch and freeze (guidelines at the bottom of the recipe). Serve warm with ketchup and veg or salad.

Salmon fried rice
Naan pizzas
Chicken noodles

My DD really loves prawns - I am aware not all young children will! Her favourite tea is a dish of prawns in the middle of table, lemon to squeeze, with noodles and melted butter. Very easy. I think good to try more unusual foods every so often as sometimes they suddenly surprise you and wolf it.
