Creamy sausage pasta recipe?

Why am I struggling to find a creamy sausage pasta recipe? That is simple & doesn’t need lots of fancy bits.

Does anyone have one?

Trying to think of quick easy meals for work nights/school nights that my two fussy DD’s will eat!

Can't you make it up? Fry onions, peppers, sausages, add tin tomatoes or chicken stock and a dollop of Philly/ crème fraiche/ cream/ Greek yoghurt/ quark. Job done.
I find a tin of chickpeas is really good in sausage pasta and also spinach.

I found this one from Gousto which looks simple enough and seems like it would suit fussy children (though obviously without knowing what your children eat that's a guess).

Here's 2 from nigel slater. You could just add fried up sausage to the meat free one. We use normal sausages for the sausage one and leave out the chilli, and the kids eat it. It delicious!

Chop sausages and fry, add chopped onions and garlic and soften, pour in cream, chicken stock, honey, whole grain and Dijon mustard and sage and allow to thicken slightly. Then add cooked pasta.

The Nigel Slater one with basil and mustard is one of our favourites.

We've always liked this one

Brown chopped up sausages, cook your pasta, combine in an oven proof dish, stir in a pot of seriously cream cheese (any of the flavours) or 2 pots if it's a family size dish. Cover with grated cheese and put in the oven until cheese melts ... You can even use the low fat version of the cream cheese if you want.
It's delicious.

There's an excellent sausage and chestnut pasta on the BBC site. You could add cream to that but it's already extremely rich.

Was coming on to suggest the Nigel Slater spicy sausage with basil and mustard one! It’s one of my favourites and so easy.

When I read "creamy sausage pasta" I immediately thought of Pasta alla Norcina, a traditional Umbrian dish. I find the combination of cream and sausage meat a bit too heavy for my liking, but it's a very popular dish. They tend to finish it off with truffle in restaurants, but that's completely optional and hardly anyone would do it at home.

Jools pregnant pasta is a great recipe and may be able to be adapted with some creme fraiche mixed through at the end.
