Places to eat Newmarket to Norwich are

Husbands mother going to be 80, he’s booked The Bedford Lodge hotel restaurant, I’ve looked at the menu food far too adventurous to PIL, so nice place but standard fare for food needed. Anyone any recommendations?

The Red Lion in Soham is about a 15 minute drive from the hotel and we really liked it.

I'm really surprised the Bedford Lodge menu is adventurous (off to have a look at what's on it now!). Presumably that's the bar not the restaurant?
