Nibbles for a bbq

Hello mums
I have to attend a bbq party at a colleagues place tomorrow and they asked if someone would like to bring nibbles along and I’ve volunteered. I am new to the country to struggling to understand what would be appropriate nibbles for a garden bbq party (I don’t have time left to cook, so any quick fix ideas are welcome). Also I’m a vegetarian so would be comfortable with veggie ideas (Other ideas welcome too as long as they are easy and popular)

Crisps and dips from a supermarket. Anything more substantial will be wasted at a barbecue where people won’t want to fill up on sausage rolls etc when there’s going to be proper food available soon.

I like to bring along pre-sliced crusty bread, a Tupperware full of quartered cherry tomatoes (generously seasoned with olive oil, basil and salt), and peeled garlic cloves. The bread can be quickly toasted on the barbecue (1 minute) before the meat goes on, which gives it a lovely flavour, then people can grab a slice, rub it with garlic and top with the tomatoes to make the loveliest most authentic bruschettas you can find, as a nice appetizer.

If you think they might not welcome the added load on the barbecue (even though the disruption is really minimal and completely worth it) or would rather something people can have on the side, I would bring along a massive tub of hummus and some fresh Turkish bread, along with some olives. Where I live you can easily find this in Middle Eastern/international grocery stores, and they're very inexpensive too.
