Large, transportable apple based dessert (not crumble)

We have an annual weekend with friends next weekend, usually between 10 and 14 of us. We pre-prepare as much food as possible so that we're not spending too much time cooking.

One of my food contributions this year is a pudding. If possible I like to make ahead and freeze as it's easier to transport. Last year I took sticky toffee pudding for example.
. We have lots of cooking apples this year so makes sense to take an apple based dessert. Crumble or Eve's pudding are fall back options but was wondering if anyone had ideas for something more interesting:unusual please?

Dorset Apple cake. It's delicious and can be earned and eaten as a sponge pudding.
Eve's Pudding
Apple snow

Yes Dorset apple cake (loads of recipes online). Should freeze well. Great on its own or with ice cream.

I’ve made this before and it was lovely - you could do it with cooking apples, they just might not hold their shape as much.

Tarte tatin

Apple strudel

Thank you. I know there will be lots of cake too for mid afternoon tea, so I'd rather the pudding was not 'cakey' - although I could take an apple cake for that and make a different non-apple dessert. Although it's a good opportunity to use up a lot of apples but you don't need many for a cake do you?
Dorset apple cake does look lovely so will definitely make one, even if not for next week's pudding. Thank you

Apple tart tatin? A treacle apple pudding? Toffee apple bread and butter pudding? I'm hungry now 😂

Apple lattice (do I mean strudel?) is lovely and easy to slice up for grabbable-portions at big gatherings, especially good with added cinnamon and sultanas. Also another vote for tarte tatin.

I've made an apple flan which went down very well, I'll look up what's in the base, but the top is sliced apples arranged in concentric circles &, post cooking, glazed with apricot jam

Ooh I hadn't thought about a tart or strudel. I've made Delia's tartin before which is just butter and sugar in a cake tin and straight in the oven, no messing around with pans on the stove etc.
I could do that on a baking tray with shop bought pastry so although I'd need to make it when there I think, it wouldn't take long.
My current fave idea but happy to receive more apple ideas thank you

Try the premiere apple struddle in Tesco about £1.50 You just bake it, amazing hot or cold.

Ok, 6 dessert apples peeled, cored & sliced, coat with a mix of juice of 1 lemon & 2 tbsp light brown sugar.
Cream 100g light soft brown sugar & 100g butter, add the grated rind of the lemon & 2 egg yolks, gradually beating in. Stir in 100g wholemeal flour, 1 1/2 tbsp baking powder & 25g dessicated coconut. Whisk 2 egg Whites & fold in. Spoon mixture into 24cm flan dish. Press the apples into the mix in circles, pour over any remaining juices from apples. Stand dish on a baking tray & cook at 170C for 1-1 1/4 hrs until well browned & firm to touch covering lightly with greaseproof paper if necessary. Cool for 15 mins then brush with 60ml warmed apricot jam

Could you do baked apples? Core and stuff them at home and then pop them in the oven when you get there?
